Each lamp is unique. The manufacturing of the lamps is pure manual work. The lamps consist of nearly 50 parts and we need many hours to make and assemble them. During the manufacturing process attention is given to a good motivation and the recitation of mantras.
For manufacturing of the lamps we use solid wood from beech trees. To protect the wood and to guarantee a nice finishing which emphasises the natural grain of the wood, we manually apply beeswax to every wooden piece of the lamp.The wood, which is being used for the lamps, stems from local forests.
The artwork is a reproduction of ancient thangkas on a special material which assures, that the pictures keep their quality also in countries with a very humid climate. To further protect them they are placed behind unbreakable glass.
